At the Burundi Early Childhood Platform (BECP), collaboration is at the heart of everything we do.
We believe that meaningful partnerships strengthen our mission to ensure that every child in Burundi enjoys their rights, grows up safely, and thrives in a nurturing environment.
Our network brings together national and international organizations, government institutions, and technical partners who share a common goal — advancing Early Childhood Development (ECD) in Burundi and across Africa.
As a proud member of the AfECN, BECP benefits from a continent-wide platform that promotes knowledge sharing, policy dialogue, and collaboration among ECD actors in Africa. Through this partnership, we align our efforts with regional and global initiatives for the holistic development of young children.
Geseses Analytic supports BECP with data-driven insights and evidence-based approaches to enhance the quality and impact of early childhood programs. Together, we strive to use research and analysis to inform better policies and practices for Burundi’s youngest citizens.
In partnership with DREPAVIE, BECP advocates for the inclusion and support of children affected by sickle-cell anemia — a critical health concern in sub-Saharan Africa. Our joint efforts focus on awareness, prevention, and improving the well-being of affected families.
Right To Play collaborates with BECP to promote learning through play and to strengthen educational practices that foster creativity, resilience, and confidence among young children.
Through collaboration with Save the Children, BECP contributes to initiatives that protect children’s rights, improve access to early education, and promote child health and safety across communities in Burundi.
BECP works hand-in-hand with the Ministry of Education to align early learning programs with national priorities. This collaboration ensures sustainable government engagement and policy support for early childhood development.
